Our intention is to show you some of Valencia’s most beautiful and famous landmarks and gastronomy, such as the following:
The Historic Centre & The Old Town
More than 300 languages are spoken here, more than any other city in the world, and you’ll find a wealth of different cultures and communities throughout the capital. But the fact is that people of different backgrounds, with varying languages, live and work right across the city, so don’t be surprised to hear restaurant staff, officials or people on the street speaking just about anything from Polish to Arabic to Spanish.
Valencia has an idyllic coastal location, offering the best of both worlds with the historic culture of the city and the beauty of the sea. The Port and La Marina are filled with Tapas bars and shops, and makes a great place to spend an evening. Without fail, we will make a stop here for welcome drinks!
Castillo del Papa Luna
El Castillo del Papa Luna (the Peniscola Castle) is situated in the north of Valencia. Antipope Benedict XIII owned this Castle, which was constructed from the ruins of the old Arabic fortress in 1307. An Arabic fortress was situated on this site during the time of the Moors rule in Spain. Nowadays, it is a popular site amongst tourists as it has been so well preserved and looked after. It offers amazing panoramic views of Valencia from the tower, so have your camera ready!
