Improve your Spanish during a total Spanish Homestay Immersion Programme (SHIP) with Elena, your experienced Spanish host teacher in the town of Tudela, in the province of Navarra.
Our course gives you the chance of taking a full Navarra Spanish immersion programme, living and being taught by your private teacher for one week or longer in Spain.

With this Navarra Spanish immersion programme, you will be able to:

Elena’s experience as a teacher, after several years of teaching students of all levels and from different countries, has been rewarding for her family and herself.
Elena and her husband Raul live in Tudela, Navarra, they are a large family as they have four teenage children. Both have been host families for many years, they love meeting new people and experiencing their cultures.

When you come to Navarra, you will be staying in Tudela. This city is the Capital of La Ribera and a living example of the meeting of cultures that make up its past.
Tudela enjoys an excellent geographical location on the banks of the Ebro, perfect to be explored on foot.

This time, the home waiting for you in Tudela is a beautiful apartment with impressive views and newly remodelled facilities.
All students will be able to enjoy ample space while studying, and at the same time be located in a prestigious area of the city.

Unless they are on a 2:1 Navarra Spanish immersion programme, in which case a twin room is shared, students on our private Spanish classes for the ADULTS 18+ programme have their own private bedroom with a comfortable single or double bed.
We must be told ahead of time if there are any special dietary requirements.
You can study individually or travel with loved ones, with groups of up to 6 of roughly the same fluency level.

Tudela
In the south of Navarra, between the overwhelming aridity of the Bardenas and the intense green of the orchards of the Ribera, lies Tudela, the second largest and most important city in the region.
A walk through places like the Casco Antiguo of this region will tell you about the magnificent history it houses and treasures. Tudela has large open plains and is crossed by the river Ebro, resulting in scenic views that you won’t easily find elsewhere.
If you let yourself be welcomed by Tudela, you will lose yourself in the interesting history of its locality and the landscapes of envy that will make you think if it is time to put your Spanish into practice with an indefinite stay.

Of course, we can’t fail to take you to the Thursday PINTXO-POTE, a typical day originating in the Basque capital of Vitoria-Gasteiz, which has spread throughout the Basque Country, Navarre and La Rioja.
It is celebrated every Thursday, and the bars and taverns prepare their best menus offering a rich selection of Spanish food and, of course, tasty refreshing drinks!
On our visit to the provincial capital of La Rioja, we will be able to visit the famous street of pinchos, “La Laurel” and enjoy a delicious tasting of all the dishes on offer!
We will be doing these and many more activities to immerse you in the rich delicious Spanish gastronomy.

One of our adventures will be a visit to the Medieval Castle of Olite. The palace is a complex and irregular set of towers, rooms, gardens, galleries and courtyards that tower majestically over the hamlet of Olite.
Its splendour was such that people used to say it had as many rooms as there were days in the year.
We will also have time to escape to nature, as one of our visits will be to the Bardenas Reales Natural Park.
In the southeast of Navarre, this Natural Park has been declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and includes three Nature Reserves.
The surrounding villages are on our list, and the town of Cervera del Rio Alhama made space in our itinerary. Famous for being the birthplace of espadrilles, we will take a hiking route along the greenway, and we can find the natural reserve of Buitres.
In addition, we can discover how the handmade espadrilles are made in the place where they have their origin.
