Marisol and Alberto are teachers. They were born and live in Burgos. They have worked teaching Spanish and other subjects in schools in the capital and throughout the province for many years.
They have also hosted students from other countries who wanted to learn Spanish, providing a wonderful experience. Besides traveling, other of their hobbies include music, theatre, cinema, reading and writing, art exhibitions, hiking.

Burgos (city centre), Burgos – Accommodation
When you come to province of Burgos, you will be staying in the capital city, which shares the same name, Burgos. This is a city of 177,000 inhabitants, between Madrid and San Sebastian. It is pleasant and has many green areas.
From home you can walk to the historic centre in about 15 minutes where there are, as in our neighborhood, a variety of stores and bars to taste pinchos and the wines of southern Burgos, Ribera del Duero.
Every historical place it has will transport you back in time!
This time, the home waiting for you in Burgos is a beautiful flat with impressive views and newly remodelled facilities.
All students will be able to enjoy ample space while studying, and at the same time be located in a prestigious area of the city.

Unless they are on a 2:1 Spanish immersion programme, in which case a twin or double room is shared, students on our private Spanish classes for the ADULTS 18+ programme have their own private bedroom with a comfortable single or double bed.
We must be told ahead of time if there are any special dietary requirements.
You can study individually or travel with a loved one, of roughly the same fluency level.

The one place we can’t miss is the Cathedral of Burgos. This Gothic cathedral is one of the most important religious buildings in Spain, and it is home to a number of important works of art, including the Puerta del Sarmental, a 13th-century portal that is considered to be one of the finest examples of Gothic sculpture in Spain.
Then we have the Museo de Burgos, this museum houses a collection of Spanish art and artifacts from the Middle Ages to the present day. The museum’s most famous work is the Trono de Morales, a 15th-century polyptych that is considered to be one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance art.
We will also have time to escape to walk across the Paseo del Espolón, this is a tree-lined promenade that is a popular spot for walking, shopping, and people-watching. The Paseo del Espolón is located in the historic centre of Burgos and offers stunning views of the Cathedral of Burgos.
